Day of Rest

Today has really been a laid back day, the weather was nice and I got in some exercise. I also had the chance to talk to some friends on face book.

I also was blessed enough to have Reba and Autumn along with Taylor Swif and ten others join my face book account. But, what really made my day was connecting with my cousin Randal, who lives in Atlanta, as we have not talked or seen each other in 25 years.

I found out that he already had anointing on his life as he formed a ministry for God. Hopefully one day we can collaborate and perhaps he could be an addition to my ministry as well.

Now to end the day as it is time to watch a movie and prepare for tomorrows work load.

Have a blessed day.

Clooney

What does it take to get people to give other than a major disaster?
Am I so off track to think that God giving would be a natural impulse? I keep saying to myself, if Clooney got the hundreds and hundreds of well wishers but no donation's how much could Haiti benefit from that?

Come on America, wake up to this very serious problem. Stop complaining about them in your back yard when you are not willing to do a darn thing to help them. If everyone would just give a dollar we could take care of this problem and not be offering them a one way ticket out of town.

One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 28 "For those who give to the poor shall lack for nothing." So if you are about broke, or broke, give and it shall be given back to you, for God's promises will come to pass.

I come in the name of God and ask you to please help us complete this vision. Many say I should pray for Clooney, but the name in which I come is higher than Clooney.

Don't wait for a disaster to be a giving person.

Press Release out

It is a beautiful day here in the mile high city. My apologies for missing yesterday, as I am preparing for three separate radio broadcasts and working on the fundraiser for the homeless.

I just got the press released out this morning and hopefully everything will slow down a bit.

I commend Denver for raising an abundant amount of money for Haiti, but this gets me more determined to raise monies for the homeless right here on the streets in the United States. I don't know what I am more frustrated with, those right here in the United States that won't give to help take the homeless off the streets, but will give to another country when there is an name attached or those who complain and do nothing, where have we went off track. I don't object to helping Haiti, as need is need, but the people complaining about the homeless on the streets do nothing to help.

What they don't realize is if they don't help now it will be a bigger problem soon. For when I do the street outreach I talk to the humble at heart, as well as to the angry at heart. Some say they can't take much more and that nothing goes their way, so that may possibly lead to acts of violence just to survive.

My walks in the past years have seen and heard more stories of heartache, frustration and giving up, as no one should feel this way in a country that offers so much but gives so little at times.

To be honest with you I am frustrated and angry at the non-willing of people to help those in need here.

Forging ahead

This day started off a bit slow asn I spent the day trying to find advertising to get the word out. At times I would have never thought it would be so hard to get people to give to a worthy cause like this, since it is said that each one of us is two pay checks away from being homeless.

I was told today that I should put many pictures of the homeless and their disappear, so that people could see on my web sites, but then I think deep down why must I post it when it is all around us. They are in our downtown's, backyards, parks and sidewalks; do we really need to be reminded of what we see daily?

I had a sister in Christ pray with me today from Trinity Broadcast network and she said, "let's pray together as I see your vision coming together." So this restored my hope and gave me more faith to fight twice as hard for this cause. As she closed her conversation with me she said, "brother Trey we need to do more here in the United States, for it is Gods commandment to feed and cloth the homeless."

So really, why is it so hard to give for it is his word. Must this happen to us before we see the need to act?

Giving up the Ship

I got up this morning and in my heart I said, "I cannot take it anymore" it is time to give up. Then I received many e-mails from people asking what they can do and how they can help; this restored my energy and hope to go on.

Through my weakness becomes my strength, as the word says. I have said many times this vision was not of my own doing but of Gods will.

Now I pray for even more strength and believe that this will now take off very soon. I know that soon I will be able to tell many more about this vision through radio within the next two weeks.

I will be on WCAN radio on February 6th at 6p.m. California time and Leah Tillock will give us a plug on her 15M plus listener base on her radio station. I will also be receiving an endorsement from Amy Rubin on her Las Vegas radio station.

So, on this Sunday I just thank God and go forward.

Haiti in America's back yard

The weak person inside me says to quit today, but I won't give up the fight.

This was given to me by God, not man, and only if you would give $2 dollars out of what you would give to Haiti, we could clear up the homeless situation in the United States.

My heart goes out to Haiti in a major way and I am sympathetic, but what about here at home? I recently heard that Denver alone will bring $30 to $40M to help Haiti and we are just one city. The giving is beautiful to see, but we must help the homeless in the same way as the situation will only get worse if ignored.

Here in Denver they say they don't want the homeless in public places or loitering in parks so lets fine them $200 dollars, or throw them into jail, and of course they end up in jail as they do not have the money to pay the fine, remember they are homeless and jobless.

If it was me I would go to jail just to get food and shelter. I don't know if I am angry or depressed that George Clooney could and will bring in millions to Haiti, but when I ask him in the name of God to help I cannot get a response.

Please realize the reason that we are blessed and do not have the problems that Haiti and other countries have is because we were founded in God we Trust, not in Clooney we trust.

Please think about your own back yard as that is where the homeless will eventually end up.

Two Days To Regroup

Sorry for not writing for the last two days but it seriously took a lot out of me to lose a data base of 1,800 members on my face book due to having a Christian view point and it took a lot for me to regroup and start over.

Yes, I am back on face book and starting over. Sixty of my my past friends came back and it will take much more time to recoup the other thousand plus members. I am on face book as well under "His Love Street Ministries. This time around I must focus on a different strategy.

I really thought when God gave me this vision to open a homeless hotel that it would be a bit hard, but not this rough. Yes, I get many who say great job, and we are behind you and we admiral you, but they don't give. Wow, I just thought that God giving was something that most people did just for the love of God. Well let me say when you take a venture like this the road is a hard one.

Here in Denver the homeless situation is even getting worse. The Homeless have no where to sleep so they are sleeping in parks and getting two-hundred dollars violation tickets. Wow, it's unbelievable if they had two-hundred dollars they would not be sleeping in the park. Help Haiti folks, but lets start right here in our own back yard as well.

Trials The Testing Of Your Faith! Amen

I awakened to a beautiful day in Denver Colorado, only to find out that face book has disabled my account of 1,700 followers; due to Christian views.

I have lost all of my contacts, but I do believe that there is a reason for everything that God does, so I am thankful and rejoicing because I know that when he closed one door he will open another.

I trust in the Lord with all of my heart and know that the new path he will open will be a better path then I had before, for God is never late but always on time.

Keep looking for us in 2010.

Have a Blessed Day in the name of Jesus.

When you give to God, you win

Thank God for the many of you who have given to Haiti and those of you who are going to give, but let me say, "Why must we act when a president or an entertainer says to give?"

Why not listen to the one who gives us life, which is God almighty.

It is very commendable that you are giving to Haiti, but we need to start right here at home. Last evening I wanted to spend quality family time with my mom, so I went to Bingo with her at the church that she attends in Denver, Colorado. She and everyone there was excited because the big jackpot was $6,500.00. As I watched the many people there I new that God had sent me there for a reason.

I heard many say, "I really need to win this evening so I can buy gasoline for the car" and others stated that they needed bills paid. Also, don't think for even a moment that it was only seniors, as there were multiplies of younger people and college students in attendance. I watched the masses buy $20 to $30 dollars worth of bingo cards as they believe that their chances of winning is greater with multiple bingo cards.

What really touched me was to see the many seniors that were on a budget who were buying $50 to $100 dollars worth of pickles (a pull card that you can win instantly on). At the end of the evening one lady said, "I am so depressed now, I spent $100 dollars on pickles and now have no money for the rest of the week."

O.K. where am I going with this? Giving to God, not to gambling, is the best way.

He is a guarantee to security, food, family and all of your needs being met. God's word says "I shall provide for all your needs." The flip side of this is when I see money like this thrown away and not given to God, it really hurts me inside.

If I could only have been given just one dollar for every person in attendance last evening I could have easily feed 300 hungry people.

Believe me, try giving to God and he will take care of all your needs.

Clinton and Bush in Haiti

President Obama, Clinton and Bush said that we as a Country must pull together to help Haiti, so why then can't Americans help and feed the needy right here in the United States?

Giving is God's commandment to give to those in need, so please help us today to start right here at home. The environment of the homeless is not from the aftermath of an earthquake, but never the less leaves them without food, shelter, security and most of all sanity; as we are all God's people.

I have been working on trying to get a fund raiser for the homeless, but have only received well wishers and broken promises. However, the President this morning said that we as a country must give and George Clooney is hosting a telethon, which I admire their quick response, but why can't we give the same response to God to cloth and feed his people right here?

I am not angry, but disappointed that I must keep asking and asking to help get the homeless off of the streets, but when an entertainer spearheads an event everyone wants to give. Why can't I get that kind of response naturally without having to have a big name attached to the event, even though the cause is a worthy one?

Actually I have the biggest name ever, GOD.

Give right here as well as to Haiti in the name of God.

Thank God it's Friday.

Praise my God, for another week and for all that this week had from the ups to the downs. I must say this has been a long week with a lot of stress. From the first day I started this venture I never felt this down. But as a Christian we are taught that no matter what, we shall overcome. God-willing I plan from this day on to take it easy and wait on the Lord. This fundraiser is for Gods people and as I found out many years ago that Gods timing is always on time. I had a 13 hour day so excuse me but I need to relax, God willing I will see you tomorrow.

Bad day

Finding it hard to say anything positive today as I have had nothing but stress today. I feel as if I am a blank canvas with no paint to stick to me. I pray that I will get the support that I need soon, as I am becoming very grey. When you are spiritually grounded you still have those down days and when you trying so hard to reach people, but get no response, it becomes frustrating as I am only human. Why I am really down today is that three well known powerful people have promised to do things for my cause and I have not hear back from them. Why??

Have a Blessed night

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

After I did my blog last night I met an incredible man on line named Yank Berry, who is very well know in the entertainment and music world. He has offered to help us grow and assist us with our major fund raiser in the near future.

For the first time am able to see the rainbow that God has placed before me through Yank Berry. I am confident that the doors to the homeless hotels will be secure in opening in the near future.

To close out the evening we received Johnny Depp and Al Pacino as new supporters of Realmenlove2cuddle.

Have a good evening and God Bless

My Late Evening Blog.

My feelings have been a bit up and down today, wondering why at times it is so hard for people to give when there are so many in need. Sometimes I want to give up but my spirit says no, so I continue trying not to let the feelings of people not wanting to give win. Today I couldn't feed half of the people that were hungry on the streets. I have older people in my neighborhood giving from their social security checks, but the Royalty and Famous on my face book don't feel the need to step up and give. When we are nestled in our homes and warm with food we sometimes forget, or don't care, that there are so many in need. The saddest part of today was when people wanted prayer instead of food because they felt that there was no hope any more. A told a woman I spoke to that God loves you, we love you and I am trying very hard to get a homeless hotel out here as soon as possible; hopefully by the end of the year. She said, "don't worry I will still be out here" - you see they cannot even see the hope out on the streets.

Monday a awesome day in Denver.

Could have not asked for a better day here in Denver, it was 52 degrees and I went for a jog along the river in Littleton, Colorado. Then I worked on several projects and perparing for the Street Ministry tomorrow. I had several neighbor's make food for the homeless also received gift certificates from a friend, to buy McDonald's Sandwiches to feed the many that are hungry. My mother is even excited to go with us tomorrow. Other, than that I worked on my taxes today and trying to reduce my work load to nine hours instead of the the recent thirteen hours days working on my ministry, Real Men love 2 Cuddle, and so much more. Well its time to relax and watch a bit of TV. Sleep tight.

The end of the day

I got blessed today to come in contact with a whole new group of young people. The good thing about doing a daily blog is that it is like having a diary of daily events and people that you have come in contact with, such as Fawn Composer and Tree Hill earlier today. They have both offered to help us and also to pass the word along to their friends.

Additionally,I received 30 new people on face book. We are growing in numbers but now we need to grow in dollars, which is the only way to get the doors open. Two different publicist have suggested that I should start to request a $20 dollar donation to help with the current efforts of feeding the homeless. I have not wanted to ask for money since I stated this venture, but I am putting out more than I am taking in.

I Have been blessed to have the seniors in my neighborhood give $10 out of their social security checks and bake cookies to bring down to the homeless. The donations can be made on my web site and all of the monies go to the homeless hotel fund.

Saturday In Denver.

How awesome God really is. I watched 20/20 last evening and watched the amazing story of a young woman who had acid thrown on her face and upper body, named Katie Piper. We just do not know what we have until we lose it. God gave her enduring strength that was mighty to go through such pain and hurt. We never know what life has in store for us. One thing I have learned in my years of life is that trusting in Jesus, gives you a life of love, security and protection. I thank God for Katie and the strength he gave her and will continue to give her. What a loving God I serve. It was a early morning today and "Real Men Love 2 Cuddle" had ten more new members such as Gordon Ramsey from "Hells Kitchen" one of my favorite shows also a young and bright young man Warner Blair C. and to top it off Rob Shapiro well known for his great movies. So now I am off to do my workout, bible time and then renting a movie and a quiet dinner with my honey this evening.

Friday, end of the week

It is amazing how time just flies by. I did a lot of work on the computer today along with filing taxes on Real Men Love 2 Cuddle. The trade mark was approved today and will be published on the 28th of January. What a waiting game that was.

There is no time for myself as I find myself putting all of my time and efforts into the fund raising and networking, that I do not pay attention to the people in my life. So, my goal is to make a schedule to keep track of my time management skills and remember the reasons behind what I am doing.

Just a reminder we will not be on WCAN Radio tomorrow as they are experiencing technical equipment re installment on the tower. We will update you as to when the new Radio broadcast will be scheduled.

Sorry for the 200+ people that were waiting to listen to the broadcast.

The thought of the day, how great life is.

Well here we are Thursday already and before I start my bible time I thought I would drop you a few lines to say hello and tell you how my day has been. Well WCAN radio is having problems with there radio tower so we won't be on Saturday but soon God, willing. i met a new friend today and I believe we will have a long and prosper relationship his, name is Max Millionz, please watch for him he will be known everywhere very soon.
Max, has a true love of God, and God has blessed his "Entertainment Company" and ready to do so much more for his personal and business life. His views and work ethic are very similar to mine, he has been through allot as I have in the past, but we both know that when you go through allot you truly appreciate your mission on earth and how great God truly is. I am now off to my bible time, and my daily workout and then I am making my favorite meal "smothered burritos" and a hopefully a bit of relaxation this evening(God willing)so until tomorrow have a blessed evening.

The thought of the day

The thought of the day is how blessed I really am to have the opportunity to come in contact with such beautiful spiritual people, from Darla Rae to Queen Elizabeth. People who share the support of our cause and the desire to help others. As I collect my thoughts today for the upcoming radio appearances, I am looking out the window onto this dreary day and pray for the support of those who will come together to help complete this mission. I wait patiently and put my trust in God that very soon he will send the right people to stand by my side; as I do realize that God's timing is always perfect. I sign off today so that I can concentrate on my upcoming events.

Have a Blessed Day.

The Day before Gods Blanket of snow

Another gorgeous day in Denver today, but we are expecting 3" of snow tonight. What a beautiful sight with the mountains in the background, but not if you are homeless and out in the cold.

It was a quiet day and a day for thought and getting prepared for what to say on Saturday's broadcast on WCAN Radio. I touched bases today with Indi Brooks of WCAN Radio who I have known for some time now but, have never had the chance to have a telephone conversation with until today. I found her to be an upbeat person with a delightful spirit who I am blessed to have had come into my life.

I just wonder why sometimes that a cause of this magnitude has to prove itself over and over to people before they will take action? But I won't beg in the name of the Lord, as giving is an honor, a joy and God's commandment. So until God sends that person or persons to me to donate in a major way I shall just wait patiently, his word says to wait in patients and love, so in Jesus name I proclaim this vision for 2010.

Monday A Great day In The Lord.

Praise God, for such a beautiful day in Denver, Colorado. Just now returned from doing my "Street Ministry" you would think it would get better but it hits me harder every time I go out. When I was passing out cookies, and sandwich's to the homeless I always start off by saying "God Bless" and how are you? One man said "When your living in hell there is no place to go" The options on the street are very limited, more so trying to find employment. If you don't have a telephone or address most cases you can even apply. (Plus to be clean and presentable) My ministry is focus on helping all, but my main focus is on the single individual. And believe me when you are homeless and single it gets even worse than with a family that is homeless.
(I know by personal experience)

You will hear continuously we are not set up to help single person other than with food or somewhere to sleep for the night if the shelters are not filled up. So when I hear that homeless do not want to help themselves, well that is far from the truth. Yes, there is a small hand-few just like anyone else but, we as a country are very blessed, and a huge reason is because we were founded in "God We Trust" and now that we are taking that away we are seeing much more happen to our country. Let's put our trust back into God Almighty, and live and give for no other reason other than how great he is. I thank God, daily for food, lights, even toilet water you name it I don't take nothing for granted. I see how many countries live with horrible conditions.

As the bible says, that you came into this world with nothing and shall leave with nothing. Try giving to God's people and see how your life changes for the best. I heard a stranger yesterday say, that they are worried about December 21st 2012 and the world coming to destruction. If you just put God, close in your life and also deep in your heart he shall have perfect peace, love and understand and no fear.
For God, has not given me the spirit of fear but, of love and a sound mind.

2010 The Year That God Shall Bless.

Had a wonderful evening last night in downtown Denver, Colorado what a beautiful city we have here. Many were out watching the Fireworks until after midnight. Today I am bit run down, allot of long hours working on this vision that God, has given me. Right now I find myself looking out my window and looking at, the beautiful blue skies and snow cap mountains and thinking how grateful I have been to have over one thousand people that have written me notes, letters and commenting on what a great job that I am doing. But, then I wonder why then “Lord Jesus” must I keep asking for people to give to your cause?
Giving to God, is a pleasure and a blessing to me not only is it bible, and Gods word but the reward is beyond anything you can possibly imagine. Then I stop and say Lord, this is your vision so I give you all control and the timing for which doors to open.
Well on that note I shall end my blog and sip on my hot tea and get well needed rest.
God bless.
Rev. Trey Louis
